  • The third book in the Beautiful Creatures series, 'Beautiful Chaos', surpasses its predecessor by a mile. Without spoiling anything, let me just say that the ending of this book was absolutely mind-blowing.
  • I thought this book was solid in the series, but it was totally easy to see where the story was heading. Throughout the entire book, Ethan was clueless about everything that was going on and the true meanings behind things... meanwhile, I had all the answers because it was so painfully obvious. It was frustrating to listen to Ethan stumble around in the dark while I already knew how it would all end, right from the start.
  • If you've already read the first two books in the "Beautiful Creatures" series, then you can't miss out on "Beautiful Chaos." There are some truly beautiful moments and thrilling scary scenes that will keep you hooked. The portrayal of southern culture is captivating, and the characters are well-developed. However, I have to admit that the ending left me disappointed and it didn't live up to the beauty of the rest of the story. The sacrifice didn't quite make sense to me and felt like an arbitrary trick. The inevitability of it all didn't feel genuine. It left me feeling let down and a bit downhearted. Maybe that was the author's intention, but personally, I wasn't a fan.
