  • I was pretty disappointed overall. It felt like the author relied too heavily on buzzwords in an attempt to create a cohesive narrative. He kept repeating terms like "results," "drive results," "achieve," "attend," "inhibit," and "culture" without providing any concrete actions to take. I was hoping for more practical advice that I could implement immediately, but unfortunately, that was lacking.
  • I totally agree with the insights shared in the culture section of this audiobook. I took action on them and achieved remarkable success. Currently, I am focusing on implementing the lessons from other sections of the book and I must say, I feel incredibly empowered and in control.
  • The introduction of the book seemed excessively long and I was expecting more practical guidelines. As someone who has already put in a lot of effort into setting boundaries, I had hoped that this book would provide further insights and assistance for implementing boundaries in my business. However, I found it to be more theoretical than practical. I only managed to read about a third of the book before jumping to chapter 10, then skipping to the conclusion, and my opinion remained unchanged. Perhaps the most valuable content was in the middle section.
  • This audiobook effectively communicates valuable principles in a straightforward and concise manner. It emphasizes the idea that we ultimately get what we promote and what we allow, highlighting the importance of being fully in control of our responsibilities.
  • This book is one of the most eye-opening and beneficial reads/listens I've come across recently. Although it appears to be primarily aimed at C Suite leaders, as a healthcare field manager, I still managed to extract some valuable insights from it.
  • Dr. Cloud never disappoints with his ability to provide practical examples and step-by-step guidance. This book is a must-read for leaders at all levels, especially those in the C-Suite.
