  • The main female character in 'Bring Me Home for Christmas' goes through a rather embarrassing situation. It seems like the author decided to add some humor by having her express her thoughts openly, only to end up getting out of the truck and tripping into a water-filled ditch.
  • I'm a huge fan of cozy Christmas reads that warm the heart, and "Bring Me Home for Christmas" certainly delivered. This book is everything I look for during the holiday season. Susan Mallery has once again proven why she is a favorite author of mine. I can confidently give this book a well-deserved five-star rating!
  • I chose this Christmas novel based on the publisher's description that promised a heartwarming romance. Although I'm paraphrasing, the general idea was there. Additionally, I assumed it would belong in the Christian genre. Unfortunately, I must admit that it fell short of both expectations.
  • The storylines in 'Bring Me Home for Christmas' stick to the tried-and-true formula that Robynn has become known for. While they are acceptable, I must say that after reading through this series, I have found myself disliking the female lead in each of these Christmas tales. I really can't tolerate a woman who lacks sense. Becca's character came across as immature, argumentative, and lost. It seemed like she didn't think through her choices and constantly blamed Denny for everything. In comparison, I found Denny more likable in the previous books. It makes me question why he would even want to be with her in these stories.
  • I almost gave this book a two-star did not finish rating. Initially, I found none of the characters likable, including Becca and Denny. The boyfriend who acted like a jerk and the overbearing mother were particularly unappealing. However, everything changed when the children entered the story and the community united to help those in need. That's when the book grabbed my attention. It follows the classic Hallmark Christmas movie formula, but with a bit more romance involved.
  • Oh heavens, another excellent, beautiful, loving book about the incredible community of Virgin River. This book touches your heart in every crevice and small space left open, that needs to get filled with the Christmas spirit and joy that only Robyn Carr can fill. Her narrator Therese Plummer makes all of Robyn’s work come to life with her gift of telling a wonderful story. Take a well deserved break and read this incredible book for yourself. Merry Christmas to all!
  • Excellent book. Robyn Carr's Virgin River series is so wonderful, you believe that this is a real place that you want to go visit these people. I would love to meet the characters as I feel like they are real. the reader does an excellent job in this book and in all the books. Her voices are distinct for each character. Loved it. Hated to see it end.
