  • Dragomir and Emeline are a perfect match. They have both endured challenging experiences, and Emeline has been concealing a significant secret from everyone. What sets her apart is her ability to foresee future events. Throughout several books, Vadim has been relentlessly pursuing Emeline, leaving readers wondering about his motives. Finally, in this installment, the mysteries surrounding his intentions are unveiled. Christine has a knack for addressing overlooked details in her future works. Dragomir differs from other male characters in that he respects Emeline's autonomy and desires her acceptance as he is, without coercion. He treats her with kindness while also making it clear that if the situation calls for it, she should run rather than fight. Their interactions with their daughter, Carsima, reveal Dragomir's tender side, hinting at his future role as a loving father. While a major battle takes place in this book, the primary antagonist everyone had their eyes on turns out to be a minor character. Instead, the focus shifts to his brother, who poses a greater threat. With the introduction of new characters and their unique abilities, readers are left eagerly anticipating what will unfold next. On a side note, the Ancients, although claiming to be humorless, deliver highly entertaining one-liners. It's amusing to witness their comedic attempts, and it's worth mentioning that Ferro will be featured in an upcoming book. However, personally, I'm hoping for Sandu to have his own story too. His humor shines through in this installment, and I can't wait to witness his comedic genius once he truly grasps the concept of humor.
