  • Sandra Brown is known for her abundant writing, but not every book is a winner. However, "Mean Streak" is an exception and truly stands out. Personally, I'm not a fan of her romance genre, so I always rely on the book's synopsis and reader reviews before making a purchase. "Mean Streak" is a captivating survival thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat with unexpected twists and surprises. The story revolves around Dr. Emory Charbonneau, who is training for a marathon. However, things take a dark turn when she goes for a run on a secluded trail. From there, the plot becomes a roller coaster of events that continuously escalate until the very end. The characters are intriguing and their challenges feel realistic, while the supporting characters are just as captivating. The narration by Jonathan Davis is an added bonus. His effortless delivery and spot-on performance enhance the overall experience.
  • I absolutely adored this book! I couldn't help but engage with the characters by having conversations with them aloud. Haha! I was convinced I had it all figured out, but boy was I wrong. Well, that's part of the thrill of a mystery, isn't it? However, if you get your hands on this audiobook and give it a listen, the mystery won't remain a secret for long.
  • I really loved it! It kept me on the edge of my seat with all the suspense. The protagonist's decision-making process was truly intriguing, and there was a surprising plot twist that caught me off guard. The narrator's performance was top-notch, and JD did an exceptional job. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more books narrated by him.
