  • This audiobook was incredibly disappointing. I had to listen to the last hour multiple times, but still couldn't understand why it was even published. I'm desperately searching for some reviews to see if anyone else feels the same way.
  • I absolutely adored 'Mrs. Fletcher'! It left me wanting more, though. It would be great to have a follow-up that delves deeper into the character development and further explores their stories.
  • After hearing all the hype about 'Mrs. Fletcher', I decided to give it a shot. However, I couldn't quite grasp why this book was written in the first place. In my opinion, the characters felt very contrived and artificial. The narrator for the Amanda character was particularly dreadful; her delivery sounded robotic, lacking any sort of emotion. Moreover, the ending felt forced as well. It seemed like the author attempted to tie up all loose ends and give everyone a happy ending, even though that wasn't the overarching theme of the book. Perhaps I overlooked something, or maybe this novel simply wasn't my cup of tea.
  • A good buddy of mine back in college put me onto Tom Perotta through his movie called Little Children, and let me tell you, it's a real mind-blower. Perotta is one sharp and thought-provoking writer, known for his knack to delve into the moral complexities of modern life with unmatched skill and style. His stories can make you squirm, but that's what I dig about them: he confronts the nagging insecurities of his characters head-on. Mrs. Fletcher is no different, and the all-star cast of talented narrators truly do justice to this novel, with many of them being actors who've collaborated with Mr. Perotta on his successful film or TV projects.
  • The characters in 'Mrs. Fletcher' were given great depth and had distinct personalities. However, I personally found the storyline to be quite absurd and somewhat unengaging. Although I don't necessarily regret giving it a listen, I must admit that I'm relieved it's finally come to an end.
