  • Overall, I really enjoyed 'My Sister's Grave'. However, there were a few moments where the narrator had to imitate male voices, and honestly, some of them were a bit irritating. But, you know, that didn't ruin the whole experience for me.
  • At first, I found it quite intriguing. I wasn't expecting anything mind-blowing - just a straightforward mystery to divert my attention from the heavier reads I usually indulge in. The writing style is basic and lacks maturity, but I managed to overlook that aspect. The character development was lacking, yet the characters were still somewhat likable. The dialogue felt forced and unnatural. Despite these flaws, my interest was enough to keep me engaged. However, in the end, the book left me feeling empty. It was akin to having a meal at McDonald's. Now, every now and then, I can appreciate a greasy burger and fries. But once I'm finished, it often leaves a bad aftertaste and I feel like I wasted my calories. So, if you're in the mood for something incredibly uncomplicated and somewhat trashy just to pass the time, you might find some enjoyment in this. However, there are far superior options available. I would recommend giving "Girl on a Train" a try instead.
