  • Stephanie is absolutely killing it in Plum Spooky! I couldn't stop laughing, like legit, I was cracking up so much that my hubby was like, "Yo, what's got you in stitches?" The crew, her dope friends, and the monkeys had me in a constant fit of giggles. It was straight up hilarious!
  • I'm a huge Stephanie Plum fan. While the between the numbers books don't offer the same depth as the numbered ones, Plum Spooky is still an enjoyable listen. If you're a fan of the series, definitely give it a go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. The narrator remains consistent with the other books, which helps maintain the character's essence. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed it. Monkeys! Monkeys! Monkeys everywhere!
  • Janet really knocks it out of the park with "Plum Spooky" by seamlessly carrying on the beloved Plum series, while infusing it with a delightful dose of freshness and humor. It's impossible not to adore it!
  • I'm a huge fan of her books and found this one to be absolutely hilarious! The narrator does an incredible job with the various voices, which adds even more depth to the overall experience.
  • Ms. King once again delivered an exceptional performance, as she usually does. In my opinion, 'Plum Spooky' wasn't Ms. Evanovich's finest work. However, I must say that her books are generally quite entertaining, and I've had the pleasure of listening to all of them in sequential order from 1 to 15. The characters are well-developed and experience noticeable growth throughout the series, although I must admit to feeling slightly let down by the transition from book 10 to book 11. It would be great to have the earlier books re-recorded by Ms. King, but I understand that it might not be a feasible option.
  • I usually give star ratings to books, with 1 being horrible, 3 being okay, and 5 being love it. But I just realized that on this platform, 2 stars means "it's okay"... which doesn't really make sense to me. Anyway, the story in "Plum Spooky" was definitely not okay in my opinion. It felt like it was just going around in circles, revisiting the same places and involving the same characters over and over again. For a supposedly fun and investigative book, I expected the author to have a bit more imagination. Unfortunately, the narration was just average, but I could have overlooked that if the story had been better. Honestly, I didn't even bother finishing this book because I didn't want to waste my time and get worked up over it.
  • If you've already gone through the last 5 Stephanie Plum novels, there's no need to bother with this one. They're all pretty much the same. I really wish I could figure out how Stephanie manages to maintain an attractive figure while surviving on nothing but donuts and junk food. The humor and scenarios are just the same old worn-out stuff. I won't be investing any more of my hard-earned cash or time into these books.
  • While not the crème de la crème of Stephanie Plum novels, Plum Spooky still manages to deliver a highly enjoyable experience. Stephanie Plum and her captivating world never fail to conjure up a good chuckle.
  • This has got to be the most regrettable purchase I've ever made on this platform. It was incredibly forced and I couldn't wait for it to end. I've had a good time with other books featuring Ms. Plum, but this one was worse than cringeworthy teen jokes. And please, spare me the monkey jokes!
