  • This audiobook is mainly filled with anecdotes showcasing the author's exceptional intelligence and achievements. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to complete. In the opening, the author mentions that one can skip his personal life and focus on the principles instead. Perhaps I should have taken his advice.
  • The book 'Principles: Life and Work' presents intriguing ideas, although it gives off the impression that the author has solely been in leadership positions throughout their career, lacking exposure to diverse work environments. Ray, the author, displays a clear comfort with conflict, and it seems unlikely that any introverts have ever been part of Bridgewater, the company mentioned. While this strategy may be effective for establishing a successful hedge fund filled with assertive individuals, I question its relevance and potential harm in cultivating a genuinely innovative atmosphere in other fields.
