Summary

    When I heard that 'Shelter' was being described as "Coben for teens," I was a bit skeptical. However, I quickly reminded myself that it's still Coben we're talking about here. And let me tell you, I absolutely loved it. It seamlessly carries on from the previous book where we were introduced to Mickey. Coben has introduced a new character that has piqued my curiosity, and I can't wait to see how he develops them. I must say, I've read and enjoyed every single one of Coben's novels.

    He who saves one life saves the world. The impact you have on people makes a world of difference and hope. The butterfly tattoo and it's roots ran deep, it took on a life of it's own. Making the world better in increments with the abionial shelter. Elizabeth "Lizzy "showbeck helped saved many children from the holocaust and then came to America and started the Abionial Shelter helping kids. Lizzy which is known as the "Bat lady" survived Auschwitz concentration camps orphaned. Mickey's father worked for the shelter all over the world but decided to resign to give his son a normal life. when he did he ended up in an accident and died. this story takes you on all kinds of highs and lows. But the way it ended.... juicy and left me wanting more. you never know what your purpose in life is or how it ties back to your ancestors or for the greater good.
