  • "The Flight Attendant" has a rather subtle suspense that creeps up on you. While the murder mystery aspect may not be the most thrilling, it manages to keep you hooked. The majority of the revelations and lingering questions are only resolved towards the very conclusion.
  • I had a great time with the story, and Cassandra's performance was solid. However, I wasn't as impressed with the other female voice talent. Unfortunately, I found the ending to be sudden and unsettling. It would have been better if there was more excitement towards the end; it felt like the author just wanted to wrap up the story quickly.
  • I couldn't continue reading this book. While the storyline had some intrigue, it kept bringing up distressing themes like animal suffering in shelters, dogs being harmed by an intoxicated father, and even suggesting poisoning dogs. That was my breaking point. Personally, I don't think stories centered around murder and mystery should constantly touch on animal abuse and misery. I strongly advise against reading this book, and I'll be returning it and steering clear of this author's future works.
  • I'm sorry to say that despite my enjoyment of "The Guest Room," the best thing I can say about "The Flight Attendant" is that it managed to hold my attention. However, in the end, the story seemed to come together in a rather chaotic manner. The potential issues were either resolved abruptly or left unresolved without any explanation. Furthermore, some characters were completely omitted from the ending, which was quite disappointing. Despite this, I still plan to give the author's next book a chance, just to be sure. On a side note, while the voices in the audiobook were mostly good, some were excellent, there was one particular woman who read Miranda's part, and her delivery was too harsh and strident. It felt like a miscast.
  • I quite enjoyed this book, it had a strong start that immediately grabbed my attention. I particularly liked how the author sprinkled in some amusing anecdotes about the flight attendant's experiences. However, I must say that in my opinion, the choice of the villain was rather lackluster. Nonetheless, I found the book to be entertaining and engaging enough to keep me hooked until the end.
  • Oh my goodness, I am absolutely blown away by this book! Seriously, it is beyond amazing! I decided to give it a go because I heard it might be adapted into a movie, and let me tell you, it would be perfect for the big screen! Now, I don't want to spoil anything for you, so I won't go into too much detail about the plot. But trust me when I say that lies will lead you absolutely nowhere, especially those little gray area lies. They just keep piling up and up. The number of twists and turns in this story is mind-boggling. I found myself waking up in the middle of the night, pondering over them and trying to predict where the author would take us next! I wholeheartedly recommend you give this book a read, or even better, give it a listen like I did. It's packed with non-stop action and will keep you on your toes, guessing until the very end.
  • I really enjoyed 'The Flight Attendant' as it had a captivating storyline and compelling characters. The book kept me engaged with its numerous unexpected turns, but unfortunately, the ending was quite disappointing and far-fetched. It was such a letdown that it overshadowed the otherwise good quality of the book. I don't want to spoil anything by getting into specifics, but I must say that I've read other works by this author that were truly fantastic.
  • It was just okay, the ending had a surprising turn of events but the actual story wasn't all that captivating or thrilling. I got the feeling that the author occasionally rambled on about things that weren't really important. All in all, it was a letdown.
  • This book had a lot of potential but I didn’t feel it went anywhere. The two story lines rarely merged and honestly nothing happened after the big plot point at the beginning. Also I couldn’t stand the voice actress who read Elena’s story. I know this sounds harsh but I barely finished listening to it partially because of her. The beginning of the book was good and literally went downhill after the first hour. I wouldn’t waste my time.
  • Excellent! Well written and exciting. Narrators were good too! Main character reminded me of an aquantance and describes her to a T. Extremely realistic. Don’t pass this one up. Good read.
  • I normally read books like ‘The Hating Game’ so this genre is new for me. The main character is perfectly written and easy to judge. Her compulsion and narcissistic traits; left me wishing she could be more likeable...but atlas she’s a mess. Good read.
