    The entire plot of this book could have easily been condensed into a single chapter. It was so predictable that I ended up fast-forwarding through a lot of unnecessary and overly-detailed nonsense.

    I absolutely adored the storyline of 'The Mistress'. It had me hooked and eagerly anticipating what would happen next in each chapter. DS's work is simply fantastic and I can't thank them enough.

    As someone who thoroughly enjoys Danielle Steel's work, I must say that "The Mistress" fell short of my expectations. The story seemed to lack depth in both plot and character development, leaving me feeling rather unengaged and, to be honest, quite bored.

    The story was solid. However, I wasn't a fan of how the focus was heavily on the clothes throughout. It felt excessive. Nevertheless, the final chapters were excellent. They resonated with me, reminding me of my own experiences of independence and wisdom in later years.

    This is My favorite book written by Danielle Steele. I have read many of her books., and this book was by far my top favorite. I live out here in Southern California, you know how bad traffic is if you moved out here. I downloaded her book on audiobooks., and after the first chapter I was captivated. I had something to look forward to wherever I drove. To tell you the truth., I didn't pay any attention to the traffic nor any noise. I was in my own imagination between Conversations with "Vladimir and Natasha". Danielle, I think really gave this book all she had and I want to thank you Danielle for writing so beautifully. I don't cry much, yet I cried at the ending. I did not want the book to end and I wanted to hear more on a new developing love. It was over to quickly. What a wonderful, awesome, beautiful story.     The best I've ever read. Never into audio books but this had my head spining and wanting more. Danielle Steel has always been my best but the narrator was amazing. Love every bit of it.
