  • I plan on giving this audiobook a few more listens and recommending it to others. The amount of wisdom presented in such an eloquent manner is truly appreciated. Thank you for this fantastic experience.
  • While I immersed myself in this audiobook, I experienced a profound recalibration, a fine-tuning, and a heightened sense of focus. The author mentioned books that I had also read, creating a sense of shared interests. However, Charles Eisenstein's perceptiveness and extensive knowledge surpassed my own, allowing him to grasp the deeper meaning that had eluded me. Through the transformative lens provided in this book, I gained a clearer understanding of the events unfolding around me and discovered actionable steps I could take. It's definitely a worthwhile listen, one that I would gladly revisit.
  • I believe this author serves as an important messenger and effectively captures significant points in this book. However, I find his use of the pronoun "we" to be problematic. He presents himself as speaking on behalf of all individuals, but in reality, he is referring to "we white middle class Americans" without acknowledging this, which I perceive as naive. He fails to recognize that he is not encompassing other perspectives. People of color have long been aware of the societal issues and the extent of their own suffering. It is only recently that white individuals are starting to realize the falsehood of the American ideal. Although I find many aspects of the book to be quite good, it becomes challenging to continue listening when this fundamental "we" error is present on every page. I am torn because I believe the book could have been brilliant if this issue had been addressed. I wish the author would revise the book and acknowledge its intended audience. Without that acknowledgment, it feels like a significant affront to people of color.
  • Charles is incredibly well-spoken. He brings clarity to the often misunderstood, misrepresented, and forgotten spiritual way of life. Through captivating personal stories, ancient traditions, and profound texts, Charles skillfully combines the essence of what it means to be whole in our modern world. The book revolves around his two classifications of perceptions: the "story of Separation" versus "Inter Being" or "Oneness". As someone who already believes in this truth, I would have liked Charles to spend more time confidently expressing his own beliefs without feeling the need to defend them against closed-minded skeptics in the realms of religion and consciousness. There are only a few books that delve into the intricate and paradoxical spiritual realm with such a nuanced, detailed, and precise approach as Charles does in this enlightening and beautifully written book. I definitely plan on revisiting it.
  • CE's ability to tap into spiritual connectedness left me speechless. Their skillful portrayal of the transition from isolation to interdependence, a journey we are all experiencing, was truly awe-inspiring. I am filled with optimism for the promising future of this "better world" that is unfolding before us. Well done!
  • I gotta tell you, it definitely should! This book is written so damn well and it really makes you think. Seriously, it's one of the best listens I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
  • While diving into the pages of this book, my life underwent a transformative change, aligning with my desired path. The vast majority of its content revealed truths that were seldom expressed before. Charles Eisenstein's articulation of these truths served as validation, bringing into focus the significance of the matters close to my heart. As I reach the end of the book, I find myself contemplating how to maintain the same level of involvement and profound connection with the universe, encompassing both my inner being and the external world.
  • I really connected with your words and felt a deep resonance with my own sense of purpose. This book was incredibly enlightening and provided me with valuable insights. I sincerely appreciate the author's perspective and will definitely be recommending it to others.
