  • I was initially skeptical about reading 'The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results' after hearing mixed reviews from other audiobook listeners. However, I decided to give it a chance based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm thrilled that I did. The book presents valuable ideas in a clear and engaging manner. It's safe to say that if listeners put these ideas into action, they can expect positive outcomes.
  • Save your time, skip this book. All you need to do is keep saying "The one (pick any noun)" to yourself. It's the same as reading or listening to this book. Like, the one objective, the one query, the one expertise, the one task, the one gig. It gets pretty tiresome fast.
  • I had a great time reading this book all the way through and I definitely plan on giving it another listen. The author's perspectives and practical recommendations were really valuable. It's already got me reconsidering my approach to each day.
  • The concept behind the book is pretty straightforward, and it's backed up by personal stories and scientific research. It combines all the good ideas I've ever come across, and even introduces some new ones, when it comes to creating a meaningful life. Usually, I'd say this type of book isn't for everyone and maybe more suited for those with big ambitions, but that's not entirely true. Personally, I really enjoyed the domino analogy, which makes much more sense to me than the compound interest analogy I usually hear (who even benefits from that compound interest? A bank? Why would they? Too many questions for an analogy to be raising). I highly recommend this book and I'm planning to buy physical copies to share with my friends. The audio version is also well-executed.
  • I'm stoked to find my ONE Thing each day, week, month, and year... This book has blown my mind with a captivating approach to living. I'm cultivating the habit of success. The future is brimming with endless possibilities. Big shoutout to Gary Keller & Jay Papasan for delivering a game-changing formula.
