  • This book may not appeal to everyone, but it definitely caught my attention. It delves into various subjects like science, psychology, and the Bible, and explores how they all intertwine. Personally, I really enjoyed it, although I feel like I'll need to give it a few more passes to fully grasp everything.
  • I reached chapter 5 and had to stop listening. It feels like every other paragraph consists of either Bible quotes or quotes from other individuals. The repetition becomes overwhelming.
  • I wish I could get a refund for this audiobook! In my opinion, this audiobook would be more appropriate in the religion category. I made a genuine effort to engage with it, but by the time I reached the third chapter and encountered around 50 references to God's plans and quotes from testaments and Bible verses, I reached my breaking point. It's baffling to me how an author who has dedicated their life to neuroscience studies can place such a heavy emphasis on "God's design."
  • I bought this book a few months ago and attempted to listen to and embrace its message. However, I found it a bit overwhelming for my limited understanding. Consequently, I couldn't finish it. I understand that there is a connection between science and spirituality, but seriously, who has the time to deeply contemplate and analyze all these concepts? I struggle to even plan out my daily tasks. In Chapter 9, the author discusses this module that involves intense mental work such as analysis and calculation. Just listening to her list all these requirements to find meaning in life made me anxious. Personally, I believe that if we follow God's commandments, have a relationship with Him, and embody faith, love, and a servile mindset, that's all we need for a meaningful existence.
  • Oh man, this book has got it all! I've been loving every second of listening to it and putting all that juicy information into action in my own life. Let me tell you, I've been experiencing some seriously awesome shifts in my mindset and overall quality of life. Big shoutout to Dr. Leaf for delivering the goods!
