  • Baldacci really nailed it with 'The Simple Truth' for all the legal-drama junkies out there. The characters were absolutely fantastic and, of course, the intricate legal proceedings were top-notch as always. I had a blast from beginning to end with this one!
  • David Baldacci strikes again with another fantastic novel in "The Simple Truth." The characters grab your attention and the plot keeps you hooked as it unfolds at a brisk pace. The action sequences are thrilling without dragging on for too long. Initially, I found the narration a bit frustrating. At the start, Jonathan Marosz seemed to elongate vowel sounds in certain words, making it feel like he was reciting poetry instead of narrating a thrilling novel. However, as the story progressed, this became less prominent. Thankfully, I stuck with it because the story itself was truly captivating and made it all worthwhile.
  • The Simple Truth is an absolutely incredible story that is brilliantly narrated, captivating you and drawing you in as the plot progresses. It's yet another exceptional piece of work from the talented author, David Baldacci.
  • The story takes a while to unfold, but once it does, it becomes a captivating tale full of unexpected moments and surprises. I was really bummed when it finally came to a close.
  • Wow, I'm really running out of words to express how much I enjoy Mr. David's books. I'm absolutely hooked on his captivating style of mystery. Each one keeps me on the edge of my seat, making my heart race and my mind constantly guessing what will happen next. Needless to say, I'll be reading every book he writes!
  • The story is really good, but it takes a while to pick up momentum. However, once it hooks you, it doesn't let go. "The Simple Truth" is yet another fantastic book by Baldacci.
  • I couldn't put this book down. It kept me engaged until the wee hours of the morning. It was an adrenaline-pumping adventure that I couldn't resist. Huge props to David Baldacci for delivering a thrilling read. Thanks, man!
  • I'm a huge fan of David Baldacci's books, but this narrator should never be allowed anywhere near one of them! His delivery of the prose was terrible - he seemed to rush through each sentence without any regard to its meaning, and his tone would abruptly drop at the end. His portrayal of dialogues was slightly better, but still not up to par. I was tempted to give up on the audiobook before even finishing the first chapter, but my curiosity got the best of me. I'm so accustomed to Ron McLarty's fantastic narration, and Jonathan Marosz doesn't even come close. He needs to be replaced, in my opinion.
