Summary

Zig Ziglar may be the master motivator, Mark Victor Hansen of Chicken Soup For the Soul, the master storyteller; Anthony Robbins may be the guru of personal development, but Bob Proctor is the master thinker. When it comes to systematizing life, no oneelse can touch him. He is simply the best. Bob Proctor collects thoughts like Imelda Marcos used to collect shoes. He strings them together in exquisite arrays; one thought leading logically to the next until a whole method has been constructed.

  • Before you make a decision to buy, there are a few essential points to consider. It's worth mentioning that this is not the actual book, which I was aware of and fine with, but you might not be. It's actually a seminar based on the book, and if you don't have the accompanying guidebook that Proctor refers to throughout the audio, you might feel a little left out. Additionally, it's important to note that this seminar is quite outdated. The audio quality and overall presentation show signs of aging. At times, it can come across as a bit cheesy, and it's worth mentioning that not all the speakers featured are Bob Proctor himself. There's another individual named John, who is pleasant enough, but his speaking style and tone can be irritatingly condescending. However, despite these drawbacks, there is undoubtedly valuable content and essential information to gain from this material, provided you can tolerate the aforementioned aspects. It serves as a good supplement to other books on the same topic, but I don't think it will be the ultimate one-stop solution for you. It's one of those things where you need to take what resonates with you and disregard what doesn't. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to everyone, but it's not a complete waste either. I personally had no trouble making it to the end, but I wouldn't describe it as "amazing." I'm a fan of Proctor, but there are plenty of other audio recordings by him that are much more superior to this one.
