  • I really enjoyed "Born in Shame: Born in Trilogy, Book 3" by Nora Roberts. The story follows Shannon Bodine, a talented graphic artist who discovers that she was the product of her mother's hidden romance with Thomas Concannon. This revelation shakes Shannon's world and leads her to discover that she has two sisters in Ireland who have been searching for her. Shannon travels to County Clare to meet Maggie, Brianna, and their families, and although getting to know them is initially awkward, she finds solace in her neighbor Murphy Muldoon, a hardworking farmer who immediately recognizes Shannon as the woman of his dreams. I found this book to be a satisfying conclusion to the Concannon Sisters trilogy. The bond between Shannon and her sisters, particularly Maggie, was heartwarming to witness. I also appreciated Murphy's unwavering belief that Shannon was meant to be with him. However, the past life element of the story didn't resonate with me as much. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audiobook version, narrated by Fiacre Douglas. He did an excellent job bringing the characters to life, and his accent added an extra layer of charm to the story.
  • These three books are absolutely fantastic! The characters are so intriguing and the storylines are really entertaining. I couldn't get enough and I'm sure many others feel the same way. We're all hoping for more!
  • The story was alright, but out of the trilogy, it was my least favorite. Shannon constantly claimed to be a confident and determined woman, but she seemed indecisive and stubborn to me. I could somewhat understand her perspective, but not to such an extreme degree. I felt sorry for Murphy in the midst of it all. The connection to the past was lacking and didn't quite fit in seamlessly. On the bright side, the narrator did a fantastic job.
  • I gotta say, I'm giving this audiobook a solid five stars across the board. Overall, the performance was on point, and the story itself was absolutely fabulous. Thank you for delivering such a great experience.
  • Wow, this final book in the series is absolutely heartwarming and so touching! I've been thoroughly immersed in Ms. Roberts' books centered in Ireland, and they've been an absolute delight! The characters are fantastic, and since I recently had the chance to visit Ireland, it was effortless to envision the stunning landscapes depicted in all three books. Fiacre Douglas does an outstanding job with the narration, and it's bittersweet to bid farewell. I can't help but hope for more incredible books like this to come!
  • Once again, Nora works her magic in "Born in Shame: Born in Trilogy, Book 3". She skillfully weaves her passion for Ireland and all things mystical into a beautifully crafted narrative that adds a contemporary touch to the trilogy's conclusion. This captivating tale follows the journey of a successful corporate woman who unexpectedly discovers her profound connection to both Ireland and a charming farmer who has been a recurring figure in her dreams.
  • I totally adored this trilogy! I completely fell head over heels for each and every character. The narrator knocked it out of the park, bringing vivid images of every single one to life in my imagination. I seriously hope they consider turning this into a movie someday. Hats off to you for keeping me company as I got ready in the morning, did my chores, and went on car rides!
  • I've been a fan of this trilogy for a long time, and the characters have become like old friends that I love revisiting. Fiacre's voice really brings me back to my Irish heritage, and Nora's writing feels so genuine. The way she describes everything and develops the characters is just beautiful. I'm really curious to know what they are all up to now and would love to learn more about their children!
