    I'm totally hooked on this series! I'm more into Eve and Roarke's dynamic than the actual mystery, but I'm just obsessed with it all! Plus, the narrator is seriously top-notch, nailing both male and female voices flawlessly!

    I'm a big fan of Nora Roberts, but I was skeptical about reading her books under the pen name J. D. Robb. However, I finally gave it a try this summer and opted for the audiobook version of the first installment in her "In Death" series. I must say, I'm completely hooked on these books. The main character, Eve, feels so genuine to me. And even though I'm aware that Roarke is just a fictional character, I like to imagine that he could actually be real. The narration is top-notch and the narrator is one of my personal favorites. I'm really enjoying reading these books in chronological order.

    I'm a huge fan of this series. The characters are absolutely amazing, the plot is gripping, and the mystery is filled with unexpected turns. The author does a fantastic job of injecting humor into the story, even amidst the serious situations. It's definitely not a light or cozy book, as it does touch upon some violent crimes. Additionally, there are a few sex scenes that are quite explicit, which personally, I found a bit too detailed for my taste. But apart from that, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it. It's a thrilling read!
