  • It's absolutely fantastic! You don't have to be familiar with everyone involved to appreciate Jackie Kennedy's perspective on the events and individuals, especially her beloved Jack. She isn't overly sentimental or overly emotional as one might assume from a young widow. Instead, you'll be eagerly anticipating those little tidbits of information or remarks that give you a glimpse into their fascinating world. According to her, Jack was a truly extraordinary individual, and she was just as remarkable.
  • This audiobook offers a captivating perspective on the life of Jacqueline Kennedy, a person who was known for her privacy. I admire her foresight in recognizing the significance of these interviews. Through this intimate account, we get to know a different side of "Jackie" that was previously hidden from the public eye, revealing her vulnerabilities. It's remarkable that she allowed herself to be portrayed in such a raw manner. While some discussions have criticized her lack of feminism during the interviews, it's important to consider the context of the era and the privileged social class she belonged to. Regardless, her honesty throughout the conversations should be commended.
  • From a historical perspective, I was genuinely intrigued by this audiobook. It made me reflect on how far we have come as a society, yet it also made me realize that there is still a long way to go in certain aspects.
