  • This audiobook is an absolute binge-listen! Packed with eye-opening revelations, it uncovers the remarkable journey of Nelson Mandela—a man who faced immense challenges, yet never lost sight of his purpose and meaning in life. Brace yourself for a truly transformative experience!
  • The audiobook narrator, Boatman, was so passionate in his reading that it felt as if Mandela himself was narrating. While some sections felt a bit lengthy, it actually provided a glimpse into the patience Mandela had to endure during his journey.
  • I want to express my gratitude for breathing life into this narrative. I had an absolute blast immersing myself in it. I even gave away my physical copy at one point, but now I'm thrilled to have finally experienced the story in its entirety through the audio version. The only minor issue I had was the pronunciation of certain local words. As someone of Indian descent but born and raised in South Africa, I was pleased to see that the Xhosa words were given some effort. Regrettably, most of the Afrikaans words were mispronounced. If there's any chance of rectifying this, the audio book would be truly flawless!
  • This story is absolutely incredible and incredibly motivating. I don't understand why they chose an American narrator, and why he attempted to imitate the accent? If they wanted the authentic accent, they should have hired a genuine South African. The pronunciation of the clicks was inconsistent and at times completely absent, and the accent was incredibly distracting.
