Summary

The true story of a prominent psychiatrist, his young patient, and the past-life therapy that changed both their lives. As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the "space between lives," which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss' family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.

  • This book is filled with incredibly deep insights that are presented in a way that's easy to understand. It offers valuable life lessons and serves as a gentle reminder to appreciate and treasure every moment of our lives.
  • I can't believe 'Messages from the Masters: Tapping into the Power of Love' was right under my nose all this time and I only just experienced it now? I can't even fathom what I've been missing out on! This book is truly uplifting, filled with intense spirituality, while being grounded in facts and presenting a captivating narrative.
  • One of my colleagues introduced me to Dr. Weiss' work, and I must say, each of his books has been absolutely mind-blowing. I'm eagerly looking forward to diving into more of his literary works.
  • I totally dig how Brian demonstrates his deep connection to his own Spiritual Listening. It really shows the immense power we possess as Spiritual Beings. By incorporating daily meditation, staying calm, and choosing to respond instead of react, we too can open ourselves up to receiving messages from our beloved ones who have passed on.
  • I appreciate his work as it serves to awaken individuals, but the books he writes lack substantial content. I was hoping to delve into more of his regressive hypnotherapy sessions with clients rather than hearing stories about mediums he has encountered or learned about, which can easily be found online. When I purchase a book, I expect to engage with the author's own work. I read two of his books because he presents a more contemporary approach compared to Dolores Cannon, allowing for a comparison. Dolores, on the other hand, offers approximately 15 hours of her work for one credit. She appears to have a larger client base and more extensive experience, providing a broader perspective on the spiritual realm and the plan of the divine.
  • The Power of Love by Brian Weiss MD, read by the author and his wife was enjoyable and quick. Weiss speaks slower than I would read but it’s only 3 hours, so I was willing to go along with the pace over a course of 3-4 nights. The subject matter is enlightening and informative, and validates personal realizations. I will listen to this again, and likely purchase other audiobooks by Dr Weiss.
  • This book provided a lot of clarification about nagging issues that just don't seem to have a rational basis or readily apparent solution. I am just learning about past lives and how the "hurts" that we experience can have deep and far reaching roots. I am very grateful for these explanations. I plan on listening to this many more times to really understand how our past lives may in fact be affecting our current lives.
