I wasn't expecting this book to be an audiobook, but as a fan of NPH, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the format didn't translate well and it feels like it's just being read straight through. I have a feeling that it would have been much more enjoyable in print.
I got a solid recommendation for this one from a fellow fan of celebrity memoirs, and let me tell you, it was a blast. Neil Patrick Harris, from his days as Doogie to his iconic role as Barney, does a fantastic job sharing his captivating life story. What really shines through is his down-to-earth and humble nature, making him someone you'd love to hang out with. Although the "choose your own adventure" concept can get a tad repetitive, it's still an enjoyable read overall.
This audiobook is absolutely fantastic! I enjoyed it so much that I even listened to it again. Neil Patrick Harris is amazing, and I'm a huge fan of his.
