  • I've been alive for 64 years and have read the Bible multiple times, but this was my first experience of listening to it. It's hard to put a rating on God's Word, right? These are the words that were spoken by Todd Busteed, who was the vessel for the Holy Spirit. Needless to say, God definitely deserves a perfect rating of 5 stars! Haha.
  • I've got a physical copy of the Chronological Bible, but I've never managed to read it all the way through. However, with the audio version, I was able to spend about 10-15 minutes each day in 2020. Because of the extra time I had due to the pandemic, I often found myself pausing and comparing words or phrases with other translations. It's pretty incredible how much ground is covered each day. Just like with any good book, I felt a bit down when it was finished. I also read from a regular Bible, but listening to the Chronological Bible in the New Living Translation is a breeze, especially when accompanied by a cup of coffee. The narrator is just right for me - not too British, overly dramatic, or monotonous (which can be a bore). I definitely plan on revisiting this in a few years, if it's in God's plans.
  • I've got the exact same translation from the same publisher and it's all mixed up, not following any specific order. You have no choice but to listen from the start since there are no titles for the books or chapters. I was really hoping to have the flexibility to jump around, but it appears that you need to already be familiar with the Bible to keep track of which book you're currently on. They don't even mention the book titles when a new one begins. It's incredibly frustrating.
  • I make it a point to read the bible cover to cover each year, but sometimes it can feel overwhelming. This year, I opted for the chronological bible. However, due to a big move, I fell behind in my reading. To stay on track and find motivation, I decided to give the audiobook a try. It turned out to be a great decision. The narrator did an excellent job, and it offered a unique experience compared to reading it myself. Although the bible was originally meant to be read aloud, I've never actually had it read to me, except for a few passages. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and I'm now eager to start next year's read-through. No regrets about purchasing this audiobook.
  • I've listened to this audiobook four times already, and each time, it has provided me with a fresh perspective on the Bible. I have gained a deeper understanding of its history and genealogy, which has helped me apply its teachings to my own life in a more meaningful way. The fact that it is presented in chronological order allows me to grasp the sequence of events and appreciate the varying perspectives of the different authors. Additionally, the voice talent used in this audiobook makes it incredibly easy to listen to. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to develop a habit of engaging with the Bible but may struggle with finding the time to sit down and read. With this audiobook, I can learn and grow spiritually at any time and in any place, making it perfect for filling empty moments with valuable knowledge.
  • This audiobook is ideal for daily consumption. It reminds us that sustenance doesn't come solely from physical nourishment, but also from the spiritual sustenance found in the Word of God. It's like a satisfying meal that you can enjoy day in and day out!
  • The New Living Translation is a really awesome version to read when you want something easy and chill. What's even more amazing is that you can now get it in chronological order, which is super beneficial for those who dig that kind of thing. And let me tell you, this audio edition is top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone just starting out on their faith journey, as well as those who have been studying and diving deep for a while. No matter where you fall on the spectrum, this resource will bring you tons of value.
