I gave this book a fair shot, but unfortunately, it didn't grab me. The plot feels inconsistent and the overall story lacks a strong structure. The characters come across as flat and forgettable, and there's an excess of unexplained backstory that prevents any real connection. It's a disappointing use of both time and money. Time to move on.
