I thought this series was decent enough to finish, but to be honest, I feel like I've wasted my time and credits. The narrator of this audiobook is absolutely fantastic though.
This series was absolutely amazing. It has such broad appeal that students of all ages, both male and female, will definitely be hooked and read until the very end. The combination of mythology and historical elements will captivate middle schoolers. It took me longer than six months to finish the entire series, but throughout the journey, I experienced a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt sadness, bursts of laughter, moments of cheering, and even times when I got angry at the antagonist. These are exactly the kind of reactions we, as teachers, hope our students would have while reading a book. I give it six out of five stars (I've never been good at math).
