There were a lot of alterations in the dates which made it difficult to maintain a clear timeline in the story. However, I found it captivating since I have a strong interest in this particular period of history.

I really enjoyed it. It was super easy to keep up with and stayed true to what I learned in my college history classes.

As someone who isn't an expert in history, I must confess that I have a keen interest in our country's past. After reading Killing Lincoln and Killing Jesus, I decided to dive into Bill O'Reilly's Legends and Lies: The Civil War, hoping his unique writing style would provide me with the comprehensive overview of the war that I've come to expect from his books. I was definitely not let down. The storytelling in this audiobook is absolutely superb.

I had to stop reading this after about an hour. It felt more like a fictional tale than a historical account, and it didn't resonate with me.

Fisher's writing skills are subpar. I couldn't make it past Chapter 2. It's shocking to think that O'Reilly would support this book. The plot moves at a snail's pace and feels incredibly tedious.
