    Joe Ledger used to be the top dog, but in the past two books, he's been portrayed as a forgetful and absent-minded character. I understand that the storyline has developed in this direction, but it's a bit too much for my liking. It's actually quite difficult for me to listen to, as it's hard to believe that a once successful agent can't see the obvious anymore. However, I must say that the narrator does an excellent job.

    Once again, Jonathan Maberry impresses readers with his latest installment in the Joe Ledger series, "Dogs of War." Ray Porter's narration brings an additional layer of brilliance to this already classic edition. What's more, fans will be thrilled by the unexpected appearance of a monster from the International series.

    Wow, another amazing installment in this series! It's not just a simple reset where everyone who went through the ordeal in "Kill Switch" is miraculously fine. "Dogs of War" delves into the depths of the DM of S and explores how the team is dealing with the aftermath. The introduction of new characters adds an intriguing element to the series, leaving me curious about their future roles. This book distinguishes itself from its predecessors by focusing more on recovery rather than constant action and bloodshed. While it may have felt slower in comparison, it was necessary to showcase the team's struggles and their resilience. I can't wait for the next Joe Ledger fix! This book is another great addition, complemented by Ray's excellent narration.

    I gotta say, this audiobook is off the charts! You've got the legendary Joe Ledger teaming up with the talented Ray Porter to bring you a thrilling story of terrorism. It's got all your favorite characters like Ghost, Top, and Bunny, and let me tell you, it's absolutely mind-blowing - just like you'd expect!

    Ray Porter is absolutely incredible! Having listened to countless audiobooks, I can confidently say that he embodies the essence of Joe Ledger. While I haven't formally reviewed Jonathan Mayberry's previous novels, I've devoured each of them multiple times. Thanks to Mayberry's writing and Porter's narration, Joe Ledger feels almost like a living, breathing person. Often, the anticipation of discovering what Joe Ledger has been up to in his life (and the world) can be agonizingly long, but unquestionably worth it. I initially approached "Patient Zero" with low expectations, thinking it would be just another run-of-the-mill zombie book. However, "Dragon Factory" completely captivated me, leaving me hooked. My only minor gripe thus far is that the books are too short. Don't get me wrong, they're fantastic, but I personally enjoy immersive, lengthy stories. Having said that, I wholeheartedly recommend Jonathan Mayberry's books without reservation. Each and every one of them is definitely worth reading!
