  • I thought Jan Maxwell did a great job narrating. She kept it interesting throughout. Mary Higgins Clark once again is successful in keeping readers in suspense. It was hard not to finish this in one sitting.
  • It has been a long time since I read a Mary Higgins Clark book and after reading this I wonder why I have skipped over her for so long. She writes a story that makes you think, that could be me! The pace moves right along and lots of suspense. No sex, swearing or violence for the sake of violence in the book. Just shows if you have mastery of the English language you can still write a book without using filthy language. Jan Maxwell did a good job narrating the story. I enjoy the talk at the end of the book with Clark explaining how she came up with the idea for the book.
