  • I really loved this book. The author did a fantastic job assembling the US Bombing campaign in the ETO during WWII. I wasn't fully aware of the sacrifices made by these courageous airmen, so it was particularly touching to read their stories. I highly suggest this book to anyone who wants to learn about some of the most courageous warriors in American history.
  • The book provides a comprehensive account, as the title suggests, covering various aspects such as training, bombing missions, and even the experiences of being a prisoner of war. It is evident that the author has conducted extensive research, resulting in a well-crafted narrative that includes enlightening and illustrative personal stories. While the focus primarily lies on the 8th Air Force (8AF), the 15th Air Force (15AF) receives less attention, but this is likely due to the constraint of length. Overall, I found the book to be an enjoyable opportunity to delve deeper into this significant period of history.
  • Man, this audiobook is an absolute masterpiece! I was hooked from start to finish, couldn't put it down. The narration is off the charts, so damn good. And the amount of knowledge I gained from listening? Mind-blowing!
