  • I had high hopes for 'Replica' based on the description, expecting an opportunity to make clear choices about what I wanted to listen to. However, it turned out to be just like any other book, with chapters lacking clear definition. The first story reminded me so much of the island that it became frustrating to listen to. Moreover, the ending was quite annoying, feeling unfinished and rushed. It seemed as if the author simply wanted to wrap it up quickly, just when the story was getting really good. The ending was thrown together haphazardly, leaving a sense of incompleteness, which is not a satisfactory way to conclude a book, even if there will be a sequel. On the other hand, I found the second story, Gemma, to be better written and more relatable. Unfortunately, I could predict most of the major plot points, but at least Gemma's story felt more unique. Once again, the ending came abruptly, but it was slightly better crafted than Lyra's. All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience.
  • This audiobook, 'Replica,' is an enticing blend of mystery, science fiction, and thriller genres, all intertwined with the drama of teenage life. The writing is superb, and the performance by the narrator is exceptional. I strongly suggest this audiobook for teenagers and individuals in their twenties, but don't let my age fool you, even I thoroughly enjoyed it.
