  • After finishing "The Stranger," I felt the need to cleanse my mind with a solid 135 pages of Harry Potter. Perhaps it's because I don't belong to some exclusive literary society that obsesses over hidden meanings behind deceased writers' works. Or maybe the book simply didn't leave a lasting impression on me. It's a short audiobook with straightforward writing, but there's nothing about it that motivates me to explore Camus' other work involving deceased rats accumulating in the Algerian streets.
  • I gave this book multiple attempts, but it never managed to capture my interest. However, I must say that the audio quality of the book was top-notch, and the reader's tone and inflection were excellent. As a result, the story became much more intriguing and it was a breeze to listen to.
  • This book has received rave reviews from many people. They call it a classic, well-written, and thought-provoking. But let me tell you, I found it quite the opposite. It didn't capture my interest, the prose felt stiff, and I couldn't even bring myself to finish it. And trust me, if I can't finish a book that's only three hours long, that's saying something. I gave up after two hours and haven't looked back since.
