I absolutely adored it! This book is seriously impressive and the reader's narration was top-notch! The lore is mind-blowing and Varian Wrynn is an absolute badass character.
As someone who's been a fan of Warcraft for a long time, I must say that I struggled to finish this audiobook. I will concede that the voice actor, who has narrated many of the books I own, played a role in my difficulty, but I believe the main issue lies with the story itself. Despite being familiar with the character from the games, I couldn't help but feel disconnected and uninterested in the majority of the plot. Most of it simply fell flat for me.
If you're a gamer or not, this audiobook is a must-listen. It immerses you in the captivating universe of Azeroth and the ongoing conflicts, not just between the Horde, but also within the Night Elf community.
Crafting a stellar endorsement without spoiling the plot is a challenge, but trust me, grab it and you won't regret it.
I really enjoyed it. The reader was fantastic! I hope there are more Warcraft Novels in the future. Scott Brick is definitely my top choice to narrate the entire series.
