Summary
Fifty Shades Freed: Book Three (Fifty Shades Trilogy) by EL James is the third and final installment in the Fifty Shades trilogy. After being in a submissive and sexual relationship, Christian and Anna get married and their story moves forward. They plan a honeymoon and start globetrotting. They start to understand each other. Anna, however, still has the question lingering in her mind if she should have got married or not.
When Anna and Christian return home after their honeymoon, both of them still feel that they do not completely know each other and there is a lot left to understand in each other. Anna still has trouble dealing with Christian’s behavior and his overprotective attitude. Despite this, they both take the efforts to understand each other and make progress on this front. Christian starts indulging with Anna’s friends and Anna is more experimental and adventurous in the bedroom.
Meanwhile, they realize that there are more problems in their lives apart from the marital issues and they need to deal with them prudently to be happy in life. Christian comes to know that Jack, Anna’s ex-boss is keeping an eye on them. Jack is infuriated and wants nothing but revenge. They must work together to keep Jack at bay and thwart the danger. Anna is hiding her own secret from Christian and she fears that if he comes to know of that, he may leave her forever.

Fifty Shades Freed: Book Three (Fifty Shades Trilogy) by EL James explores and portrays the relationship between Anna and Christian in a different light. Anna is no longer his submissive and the naïve girl he met first. She is more mature, confident and aware of her needs. She is outspoken and expresses herself. She has now become Christian’s wife and is on equal footing with him. The novel is successful in taking the plot forward.
Throughout the trilogy, the author reveals shades of Anna and Christian in a clever manner. Both the protagonist’s characters are developed and elaborated to the readers as they continue reading the trilogy. The author has successfully sketched the dynamics between Anna and Christian and their families and friends. The Fifty Shades trilogy is far from the perfect literary classic books, however, they have been hugely successful and been on the international bestseller list. It is particularly popular with young adults.
