Phillip's brothers, Cameron and Ethan, are now happily married. The family boat building business is starting to thrive. And the Quinns are closer than ever to keeping Seth permanently protected from his errant mother who would sell her own son rather than loving him the way the Quinns do. Phillip Quinn understands Seth's troubled past. He has the scars from his own rough and tumble childhood on the streets of Boston. He spent his days stealing and his nights doing anything to make a fast buck. Now he's a high-powered advertising executive who favors Armani suits and rare wines. When he meets educated, cultured Sybill, he figures he's found his perfect match. And when he discovers she has a family connection to young Seth, they join forces to secure the boy's future.

  • "Inner Harbor" takes readers on an incredible journey into the heart of a vibrant and inclusive family. This captivating story evokes a wide range of emotions, from laughter to tears, from anger to pure happiness. Undeniably, this book has earned a well-deserved spot among my top favorites.
  • When diving into "Inner Harbor," you can't help but become fully immersed in the story. It's an incredible rollercoaster of emotions that truly tugs at your heartstrings. Much gratitude for such an unforgettable experience!
  • After going through the initial two books, the narrator's performance in "Inner Harbor" fell short of expectations. It was disappointing to find that there was very little variation in the voices portrayed, which led to confusion and necessitated rewinding in order to comprehend the story. The lack of distinction between male and female voices was particularly noticeable, and there was a complete absence of a youthful tone for the character Seth. In all honesty, I haven't had to rewind a audiobook so frequently before, except for perhaps in the "Born In" series. My main objective was to finish this book quickly and move on to book 4, which features a different narrator. Hopefully, that will result in a more enjoyable listening experience.
  • I really liked listening to this tale about a guy who unexpectedly discovers love with a woman. The family dynamics and the strong desire to safeguard loved ones were aspects that I particularly enjoyed. I'm so excited to listen to the final installment of this series. The narrator absolutely nailed the reading of this story.
  • "Nora Roberts strikes gold once again with 'Inner Harbor', a must-read for all fans of her work. The tale of the Quinn family is absolutely unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who picks up this novel."
  • I genuinely empathized with the narrator throughout the entire narrative. It seemed like they could have used a sip of water and a brief pause to catch their breath from beginning to end. That's something I haven't encountered before. Apart from that small issue, I found great pleasure in the storyline and the unexpected turn of events that unfolded in this third installment.
  • I really liked the first two books in this series and thought the narration was great. However, I was a bit disappointed with the third book, it didn't live up to the standard set by the first two. And honestly, the narration in the third book was absolutely awful.
  • I knew this book was abridged when I rented it, but I had no idea how much of the sub-plot was taken out. I have read the book and needed something to help me through a long workday and this seemed like a good choice. WRONG! I spent my day grumbling about what was missing. I love Nora and read everything by her I can get my hands on, but I won't make the 'abridged' mistake again. Too frustrating.
