I really admire Mr. Johnston and his writing skills. However, I must say that the revelations in this book are truly disheartening, to the extent that it almost makes you feel nauseous. I completely trust the information presented here. Yet, if you're looking for some reassurance by the end of the book (which is quite understandable), you won't find much of it. Mr. Johnston reminds us that it is up to the nation, not him, to shape our future. Also, I have to be honest, the narrator's performance was terrible. It felt like he had a serious case of a nasty respiratory infection.
This book is an impressive combination of meticulous research and skillful writing. In the years to come, it will undoubtedly serve as a powerful critique of the deceptive nature of Trump's non-Presidency.
The way Trump is tearing apart our democracy and social safety measures is absolutely mind-boggling.
The media is fixated on the Russian conspiracy, causing all the other significant news to be overshadowed and largely ignored.
We are in an extremely precarious situation.
