  • I've actually listened to three books by Erich Von, and if you're into that stuff, I'd suggest checking out "Chariots of the Gods." It's interesting because he constantly cites his other works and positions himself as an authority due to the sheer volume of his writings. In this book, he references his other books as if they were facts or established theories. However, he tends to go off on tangents and never really wraps up his thoughts, which can be a bit distracting and cause you to lose interest.
  • If you've ever pondered the meaning of our existence, whether through a religious or scientific lens, then Erich von Danikan's books are a must-read. Finally, someone has dared to challenge the narrow-minded scientific mentality of demanding proof without even considering alternative perspectives. It's baffling how Stephen Hawking's theory of "The Big Bang Theory" is accepted without thorough verification, yet others are dismissed so easily.
  • As an adult, I realized that there is a vast amount of history that I had no knowledge of until I came across this book, "Twilight of the Gods: The Mayan Calendar and the Return of the Extraterrestrials."
  • I found this audiobook to be a captivating and engaging experience. The author, whose other works I enjoy, presents some intriguing ideas. While it does touch upon the notion of 2012, which is now considered a thing of the past, there are thought-provoking points throughout the narrative. It suggests that perhaps the timing was slightly off, give or take a decade or so. The book leaves the reader, including myself, reflecting on the possibility of the Gods making a comeback.
  • This audiobook is really solid. The subject matter is captivating and the logic behind it is truly intriguing. It presents a lot of thought-provoking ideas that will keep you pondering. Well done!
  • Erich Von Daniken's 'Twilight of the Gods: The Mayan Calendar and the Return of the Extraterrestrials' is a worthwhile read. Although, it does tend to deviate from the main topic in the final chapter and feels a bit unfocused. Nonetheless, I would definitely suggest it to those intrigued by Von Daniken's body of work.
